Operations Director - Converged Managed Services

A global telecommunication giant is looking for a Senior Operations Manager, responsible for the business, operations & customer relationship management of a Converged Managed Services contract. You will lead the entire delivery organization in managing the scope of Converged Network operations, setting-up and optimizing the delivery organization to comply with the contractual scope with suppliers and Operator. From day one you will define, setup & implement the customer & internal governance by way of structured meeting practices & reviews as needed to manage & administer the contract, Setting up and implementing the customer reporting process. Plans, drives and follows up operational efficiency transformation levers/improvements (defined in the contract or otherwise) to continuously improve the cost structure of the project and identifying the upselling opportunities within the account by working closely with the sales organization.

As well as having a solid technical background you will also require strong commercial/business acumen and possess the following skills and experience:

• Domain knowledge in fixed network operations (including customer facing functions like work order, problem management)
• Strong operations background, one tenure within an operator environment.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a large delivery organization (resource strength of 300) to meet contractual targets and meet/exceed customer expectations.
• Improve working methods and processes in order to achieve better customer and employee satisfaction, as well as recognizable and increased work results and controlled cost structure.
• Raise each person's motivation to self-induced learning.

• Experience in operating telecommunication networks/operator business
• Experience in handling/governing policies related to employees & operating equipment
